Love Notes: Harvest of the Heart (Vol. 4)

The air carries that unmistakable autumn crispness, and the trees outside my window are dressed in a fiery palette of gold and crimson. I love how fall invites us to slow down…to gather what’s been growing all year and to notice the quiet beauty of change. It feels like a season designed for reflection and gratitude, a season to celebrate the harvest of the heart.

As I look back on the past months…our 30th wedding anniversary, milestones with our children, and the exciting growth of Moore Love Enterprises…I see a tapestry woven with love and purpose. Each relationship, each challenge overcome, each moment of laughter around the dinner table has been a seed planted long before today. Some were planted years ago in the earliest days of marriage and parenthood. Others were sown more recently through friendships, community connections, and simple daily acts of kindness.

The harvest isn’t just about accomplishments. It’s about the quiet, often unnoticed acts of love that grow into something lasting: a morning cup of coffee shared, a reassuring text to a friend, a hug that says, I’m here. These small seeds produce the richest fruit.

This season also reminds me that harvest requires both work and trust. We plant in faith, water with intention, and wait…sometimes longer than we expect. Whether it’s nurturing a marriage through three decades, raising children into adulthood, or standing with a friend in a tough season, love is a long game. And yet, how worth it the harvest is when it comes.

As we step into autumn together, I encourage you to notice the fruit in your own life:

  • Friendships that have deepened over the years.

  • Lessons from challenges that once felt impossible.

  • Quiet moments of gratitude that fill the soul more than any trophy or title ever could.

Gather those blessings close. Let them feed your heart. And don’t forget to share them…because love multiplies when it’s given away.

This October, as I prepare for the Moore Love Enterprises launch party, I’m reminded that new seasons of planting are always ahead. But today, I pause to savor the beauty of what’s already grown.

Here’s to a season of abundance, gratitude, and love…your own harvest of the heart.

With Moore Love always,

Kelly
